We aim to collect as little data as possible. Here's what we process:

Without an account

You can play thingdle without creating an account. In this case, your game progress is stored only in your browser's local storage. We do not receive or store this data on our servers.

With an account (optional)

If you choose to sign in via a social login provider (Google, Discord, GitHub, or Twitch), we receive and store: your name, email address, and profile picture URL as provided by the login provider. This is used solely to identify your account and sync your game progress across devices.

Gameplay data

When signed in, we store your game history (guesses, hints used, results) on our servers so you can access your stats across devices.

Feedback and votes

If you submit feedback or participate in feature voting, we store the content of your submission. Feedback may include a rating and free-text comment. No personal data is attached to feedback submissions unless you are signed in.
